Check AI Research Before You Rely on It

Trace important claims to original sources, especially when money or employment is involved.

Follow the evidence

When AI supplies a claim, ask what source supports it. Open the source yourself. Check whether it says what the answer claims, whether it applies to your location and whether it is current. A page title alone is not enough.

For a workforce program, use the agency or program’s own eligibility page. For an employer, confirm the vacancy on its official career site. For pay, distinguish an advertised range from a general estimate.

Keep uncertainty visible

Create a note with three columns: claim, source and unresolved question. If two pages conflict, contact the organization or use cautious wording until you can resolve the difference.

Do not let an attractive summary replace important conditions. Residency, application dates, required credentials and payment timing can change a decision. Treat AI as an organizing aid. You remain responsible for checking the facts before submitting an application, paying for training or making a move.
