Describe AI Skills on a Résumé With Evidence

Name the tasks you can perform instead of making broad expertise claims.

Describe the task

“AI expert” is a difficult claim to support after a short course. A more useful statement explains what you can do: draft and review workplace communications, organize source material or develop a checklist using an approved AI tool.

Connect the skill to a real practice project or authorized work assignment. Explain the review you performed and the final deliverable. Name a tool only if you can demonstrate its relevant features.

Keep credentials precise

Distinguish course completion from professional certification. Use the exact credential name and issuing organization, and state completion accurately. Do not claim an employer-approved workflow unless that approval actually existed.

Prepare to answer how you checked accuracy, protected information and corrected errors. If your experience is introductory, say so. Credible detail gives an employer more to assess than a sweeping claim. Continue practicing the work that matters for your target role rather than collecting tool names without using them.
