Match review to the consequences

An informal brainstorming list and a safety instruction have different consequences. Before using AI output, ask who could be affected if it is wrong. Information about employment rights, health, money or workplace hazards needs appropriate authoritative review.

Do not present an AI-generated policy as approved organizational guidance. Ask the responsible person to review the content, confirm the sources and decide whether it is suitable for the intended audience.

Build a release checklist

Check accuracy, audience, privacy, permissions and accessibility. Confirm that a draft does not invent promises, eligibility criteria or deadlines. For an important document, record who reviewed it and what sources were used.

AI can help you prepare questions for a qualified reviewer or summarize material for your own understanding. It cannot replace the approval required by an employer or professional process. When you cannot verify an important point, leave it unresolved instead of hiding the uncertainty behind confident language.
